This most iconic American actress, model, and singer became a sensation on the
entertainment world. Her versatility as a star in both film and music proved her a
global superstar. This glamour queen was born as Norma Jeane Mortenson on 1st
June to Gladys Pearl Baker in the Los Angeles County Hospital. Her father’s name
was a secret till after her death. A heavy influence on her early life was her widow
mother, who was diagnosed with mentally ill. This forced her to stay with foster
parents Albert and Ida Bolender of Hawthorne, California till the age of seven.
It was Grace who influenced her to be a movie star. She started her career as a
model that gave her opportunity to sign with Twentieth Century-Fox for a film
in 1946.Her morale-boosting photographs for Yank, the Army Weekly magazine
of young women helping the war effort, was the biggest breakthrough in her
life by associating with The Blue Book Modeling Agency and her new makeover
with brunette hair a golden blonde helped her to become one of Blue Book's
most successful models. Her successful modeling career drew the attention of
Ben Lyon, a 20th Century Fox executive, who arranged a screen test for her.
Lyon gave her a sexy and nice flow name ‘Marilyn Monroe’ and would be "lucky"
due to the double "M". Her relationship with her psychiatrically ill mother and
sexual abuse played a large role in her childhood that led to hyper sexuality, sleep
disturbances, substance abuse, disturbed interpersonal relationships. She firstly
married to James Dougherty, the second to Joe DiMaggio, and lastly to Arthur
Miller but did not last long and ended in divorce.

She is believed to have had several relationships and became the hottest topic of
gossip for scandalous behavior. She was so famous in media that paparazzi always
wanted to take chance for a snap of her wherever they could. Her personal
struggle with drugs and alcohol, violent attitude, mood swing ruined her life and
her fame and name was destroyed which she earned in her early life. At the age
of 36 years, on 5th August she left us by drug overdose.All the magazines and
newspapers were filled with rumors of her death including murder, circulated
about the circumstances of her death and the timeline after the body was found.
Some conspiracy theories involved John and Robert Kennedy even CIA or Mafia
complicity.
